Our Facilities

The Ageya homestead is situated on 80 acres on top of East Hill overlooking Homer. It is only three miles and a ten-minute drive from town. Filled with beautiful, inspiring views of Kachemak Bay, the Grewingk Glacier and the Kenai Mountains, the setting is peaceful and serene. It is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of summer tourists. A variety of different wildlife inhabits the area and visitors often see moose and have occasionally seen bear, lynx, and heard coyotes and wolves howling nearby. There are a variety of birds and plants to view while walking the local trails that connect from the Ageya homestead to the Wynn Nature Center’s trail system.
