AWE camp is located on Ageya’s 80-acre homestead near Homer, Alaska. Situated in a wilderness setting, the camp is only three miles from Homer and overlooks beautiful Kachemak Bay. Homer provides some incredible natural history opportunities with the Islands and Ocean Visitor Center, the Pratt Museum, Bishop’s Beach and a boardwalk that provides bird and marine life viewing around Beluga Slough. A 4 1/2 mile bike trail runs along the Homer Spit, which leads to the Homer Boat Harbor. From there one can easily gain access to the Kachemak Bay State Park and pursue the many adventure opportunities available across the bay. Ageya homestead is three miles or a ten-minute drive from the town of Homer. The road is gravel and at some points one lane. It is a mile in from the main road off of Skyline Drive.
