The Ageya Wilderness Center is a great place to experience the beauty of Alaska! Situated on 34.7 acres at the top of East Hill, overlooking the city of Homer Alaska. The facility is only three miles or about a quick ten-minute drive from downtown Homer. The property offers abundant breathtaking, and inspiring views of Kachemak Bay, the Grewingk Glacier, and the Kenai Mountains.

The Lodge
The lodge is a 40′ by 48′ two story building which has a beautiful dining hall and commercial kitchen on the first floor. The dining room capacity seats 125 and 90 with tables. You may choose to utilize the lodge for your group to sleep over. The floors are radiant heat and we do have therma-rest pads (38) available for a small rental fee.
The Classroom
The upstairs hosts a large carpeted classroom, computer area, two full bathrooms with showers and laundry facilities. The classroom accommodates 30 people with tables or 40 without.
40 Foot Yurt Event Hall
The 40 Foot Yurt Event Hall has electricity, lights, and a large wood stove. It faces a beautiful view of the bay. It seats 120 with tables and is close to the dining hall making it ideal for workshops, weddings or special gatherings.
Sleeping Yurts
The Camp has two 20-foot yurts that sleep eight, and three 16-foot yurts that sleep 6-8. All are fully insulated, heated, and complete with beds and pillows. Overnight accommodation also includes use of the Lodge amenities.
